NOTIFICATION - Regarding permission to appear for CPS examination

NOTIFICATION

CPS has received e-mails/applications from the registered students regarding the permission forms requesting to condone the period of training and allow them to appear for examination.  
All such students are hereby informed that as per CPS rule no.  9.1 (read with rule no. 20) of ‘Enrollment and Examination Rules – College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai’, student enrolled for Diploma have to complete 24 months of training in their course and students enrolled for FCPS have to complete 36 months of training in their course from their date of joining the institution. 
Students who have taken leaves more than prescribed in CPS rule book (Rule no. 20.1) / maternity leave (Rule no.20.7), have to complete the requisite period of training before taking the examination.  Such leave period shall not be included in the training period.
