What Is A Paediatrician?

Paediatrics is concerned with the health of children from birth to puberty. The term "paediatrics" is derived from the Greek terms "pais" (child) and "iatros" (healer). It is the science of treating paediatric disorders. Paediatricians are medical professionals that are in charge of determining the numerous illnesses that affect young children and prescribing the appropriate medications and treatments. A paediatrician’s duties include informing parents about their child's health and treating them in accordance with child psychology.
