During the postgraduate degree, you will need to complete a residency program in anaesthesiology, which typically takes three years.There are also fellowship and diploma programs in anaesthesiology available, which provide training and education in a specialized area of anaesthesiology. For example, the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Mumbai offers a three-year fellowship in anaesthesiology programme which is a NMC recognised course and two year diploma course . Both the courses covers topics such as critical care medicine and pain management. Pursuing a CPS diploma fellowship can be an excellent way to enhance your skills and knowledge and gain a competitive edge in the job market.

Job Outlook and Salary
